paintmycave was established in 2001 by Anabel Martin and Bella Frey, initially in response to a demand for specialist paint effects. We met whilst working within design and prop-making for theatre and commercial projects, but we soon found that we loved decorating! It is incredibly satisfying and a little magical to see our clients home transform simply using paint and paper. We love using colour to give homes new life and energy.

We are not a large company, just two friends who love what we do and always enjoy working closely with our clients to give them the best possible results. 

During our 20 years of decorating we have worked on a huge variety of projects, from domestic decoration and council refurbishments to television work, murals and nightclubs. We have also carried out structural subsidence and flood repair work on behalf of insurance companies. 

Whilst our original catchment area of South east London is still looked after by Anabel, Bella recently moved to Somerset and now works under the trading name Paintmycave Somerset. 

Despite a little more distance, Our 20 years of friendship will see us aiming to continue working collaboratively on creative projects. 

We both take pride in every aspect of our work, and know that our existing clients are our best advertisement for future work.  Whether we are painting a detailed mural or re-decorating a damaged wall, we offer the same level of client care.
